LEAD PASTOR
Charles Smith
Pastor Charles has been in ministry with the Christian and Missionary Alliance for over 35 years, primarily as a church planter. He and his wife Leslie have served congregations in several states and have effectively started several new churches as well. He has served as the director of church planting in the greater Houston area with the Southwestern District for the past 12 years and now comes to the Pacific Northwest to serve this local congregation. He is passionate about making disciples, fulfilling the commission given by Jesus our Lord. He and his wife have raised six children while also fostering over 50 children in their home. Pastor Charles enjoys hiking, bicycling, reading and Earl Grey Tea.

Leslie Smith
Leslie and Pastor Charles have served congregations in several states and have effectively started several new churches as well. Leslie and Pastor Charles have raised six children while also fostering over 50 children in their home.
CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR
James Ross
In 2008 James became the Church Administrator after 20 years in the Banking industry.
James grew up in the Kent/Renton area. He’s a huge fan of 80s music, a military history buff and an avid photographer.
You’ll find James in the church office where the door is always open if you have questions or just want a friendly chat over a cold Coke.
Director of Discipleship
Amber Ross
James and Amber have been long time members of May Valley Church. They were married in 2007 and enjoy being parents to Lincoln and Kinsey.
Amber is originally from Alaska but has enjoyed spending the majority of her adulthood in the northwest. She works in the medical field at a local hospital.
